my analysis per the sixto list

CNN Headline News : ...ehh ok
The Cooking Channel : to those that want it...cheerio!
Lifetime Movie Channel : another PMS channel...great..hahaha
    H2 : WELL DESERVED !!! bring it !!
Investigation Discovery : great add... BRING IT!!
TV Land :-->........other than their 1st run shows..are any of the classics in HD or pillar box stretch??
Encore Action : always good to add a premium that will have alot of its content defacto in HD..!!

Independent Film Channel : forgot they have commercials now..otherwise a semi good add

The big stuff is on the news in HD. And one event next year is not worth an HD channel IMHO.

You're set for HD, others want Fuse or QVC, I want NASA, Military/Military History and full time FSN. It's all valid.

Anything longer than a week for channels to be in 'test' mode seems like a long time. What is the longest a channel has been in test?

IONEHD was in test for several weeks before going live.

We've seen days, a week, and several weeks.

It could be testing, remember all of these channels are on the same two transponders, that appear to both have just been upgraded with the new encoders. Remember they freed up several D10 transponders recently, totally emptied them, for what now looks like obvious reasons.

It could be contracts, specific roll-out plan.

It could be marketing, specific dates for a reason.

    Or a combination.

    Patience.

There are lots of attractive women on lots of HD channels doing lots more interesting things than she does.

I agree with dpeters. To me, HLN is a waste of space and QVC would be even worse, but I understand that there are many who want those channels. Universal Sports is my biggest want, but I would also rather see NASA and the Military Channel than HLN, Fuse, or QVC.

If I remember right, Satellite racer said the AGE of Aquarius. Aquarius is normally January 20th through February 18th.
So, according to the hint, we should expect the channels anywhere in that time period.

I want everyone to get all the HD they want. Back in the day I wanted NASA and when I got it and saw how little it had on thet I would watch I guess I was a bit dissapointed and now do not have it in my favorites
