I hate to fuel the fire here, but what's with all the crybaby antics by some of the forum posters? This is an ANTICIPATION thread. I don't give a damn about what you think about the definition of "soon." I don't care about why you think channels are being launched or why channels aren't being launched.
The only thing we should be reading about in this thread is people's anticipated HD additions or anticipation of when TEST channels go live. The bickering and squabbling needs to stop. If your panties are in a knot, spare the rest of us the BS and take it to PM.
I liked coming and reading about the HD channels that aren't currently offered and people's guesses on what will be next. Can we get back to that?
Yes, Wednesday used to be the more targeted day of the week, but Thursday seems to have been the latest shift. Those days are not by accident.
Glad to hear about the new HD coming soon. For a minute, Ithought I was in the wrong thread. I found this quote from Mark Twain and thought it might be appropriate. Sorry in advance if it offends anyone.
“It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.”
I wish they'd roll out channels on Saturdays so I wouldn't have to sit at work being envious of those watching the new HD channels.
I used to feel that way. Retirement helps.
By the time I retire we'll be posting in a DIRECTV Hologram Channel Anticipation thread.
I have been confused the past 48 hours whether I should be civil or hostile. I always thought it was about the anticipation.
I am sure those days that are Selected are Not by Accident but I would Love to know why they Selected Wednesday and Now Thursday.
Quite right!
Remember smell-o-vision? :hurah:
Not here! That is not anticipation of channels!
Before holograms, the next type of anticipation threads will likely be about 4K channel additions..
Do glassless 3D TVs count as holograms?
But it is closely related by telling us when we will receive these New Gifts from Directv!!!
Bring on HLN and H2 in HD please by next Thursday!!!
SR will we get the Second Wave next Thursday???
good question, being I can count the number of 3D channels D* has on 1 hand..I'd say 4K might leapfrog 3d channel anticipations..
Yes, because 3DTVs are Not taking off like HDTVs did. It is a Niche Product and I will be buying one in about 2 months when the New Models come out and the Sharp Aquos/Pioneer Model drops in Price from $5,000 to whatever.
have at it fellas!!!
See it in stores
The sound of reality
Larger than life
Right, the 4K TV, 3D, smell-o-vision, channel anticipation thread is currently unavailable. $25K for an 84" set. 3000 in^2 for $25K is over $120 per square inch!
Costs more than a car.
ah progress means fewer and fewer channels to anticipate
