    *1 --Shut up.
    *2 --Shut way the heck up.
    *3 --Yes, I know --and shut up.

    ;) Preemptive answers to those who feel the need to tell others they shouldn't want what they want.

    I would like to see Telemundo HD DNS, beIN Sport en espanol, ESPN and Fox Deportes to complement the newly added Univision Deportes.

    I also have a relatively new idea for HD (if one is into soccer). I'd like to see D* partner with beIN Sport to carry all games not carried live on beIN sport, for example the 6 or 7 matches that are concurrent in the Italian League at 9am East on Sundays and the same slate at Saturday 2pm East for the French League. All of those matches may utilize the 480-9 channel range on the weekends that the UEFA matches use during the week.

    That'd be fine for 98% of the folk here, but millions still have SD receivers....and some of them are sons and daughters of The Irish and The Scots, maybe even some Welsh......

    There's some Welch on my mothers side. I guess that's why half of mine still are SD. That's going to change soon (not as new hd soon :) ).

    I believe I saw in an FCC filing last year, that 60% of new customers have HD. That means that 40% of customers that just recently joined directv were SD only.

    Does that include people with Cable who have HD but never watch HD because the HD feeds are on weird numbers?

    No, its only for DIRECTV subscribers;

    Specifically it was stated in the LOA (Launch and Operate Authority) filing for the upcoming D14 satellite.
