According to his sig, Satracer's views do NOT represent the views of DIRECTV, so he was right.
I'm confused, is HD coming "soon" or "later"?
Soon aka Later
Not sure if this was posted, but I found this stuff on DirecTV's twitter:
@TheCynicalYenta A crawl will air on TruTV SD during basketball coverage directing customers to the HD games on 246-1.
@jleimer To clarify the response to your previous question, there will not be an HD mix channel but all games will be shown in HD.
@jleimer That should be available early next week. In time for the first games on truTV.
@RJBPHILLY DIRECTV will be carrying TruTV in HD for the NCAA Tourn. It will include basketball coverage (pre/post games and games) only.
Our local PBS channel KCET carries it for one hour at 4:00 PM. You can get it full time if you have a Roku box.
Just looked over TruTV's program schedule. No reason to even have them in my guide.
I hope I can get DIRECTV HD on my iPad2
Prolly not soon, but apparently you'll be able to get iPad2 HD onto your TV....:eek2:
Will any of us actually do that?
246–1 shows up as truTV HD. Info says "Upcoming: NCAA Pregame" and the video is of DirecTV's logo.
So remove it
We watch many of their programs, so I will watch it for you.
Hmmm. It wasn't in the morning D10/D11/D12 guide data, will check again later ...
I’m thinking of purchasing an iPad2 when the BBC global iPlayer app is released. But the iPad2 retains a resolution of 1,024x768. Could you or another poster with technical knowledge please explain how this permits HDMI mirrored video output at 1080p? Will it indeed be possible to watch HD programs – assuming any prove available – on a TV via the iPad/global iPlayer app?
Well I guess that settles that for DirecTV - Jon J doesn't need it, so no one does.
Didn't have to. Never been there.
You really need to read more closely. I referred specifically to my desires for one channel. Does that make it more clear?
It's showing on my guide too with "Upcoming: NCAA Pregame".
Still not in the D10/D11/D12 guide data ... still hmmm.
Things that make you go "hmmm"!
It'll probably borrow some bandwidth from PPV right?
