That's guaranteed. Say we got BBCA, H2, DIY. and Nat Geo Wild in one day. There would still be some not happy.

    I would be happy!!!

I'd still like to see the rest of AMC Networks too though... (Fuse, We, IFC). Right now DirecTV is cherry picking AMC out of the stream (Galaxy 14 tp2). Come on DirecTV, patch them all through!

There is an existing agreement with BBC Worldwide to provide programming for this channel.

It doesn't change the fact that it's both a good thing, and an infuriating thing for those who like BBCA programming.

Guess there's a world of difference between any technical ease of "patching those additional channels through" in lieu of them being received (at the DIRECTV broadcast center) on the same transponder multiplex as AMC HD and having the contractual agreements to carry them. :D

Lack of interest in most of it aside, local newscasts tend to do a pretty good job of reporting the news...

I still keep hoping DIY is one of the next added, that is one channel my family watches reguarly that isn't in HD. There are other channels I'd like to see added in HD
soon though BBCA, The Hub, H2, and HLN. I am also just guessing here, but Universal Sports seems like it would be targeting to go full time HD in time for the London Games. Hopefully we'll see it in HD on D*.

Now in a few months when the Pac 12 channel launches, if D* doesn't offer it, then my family might find ourselves headed to another provider.

But they carry them in SD, like the other providers that also carry them in SD and HD.

If I buy an Album on CD or iTunes and play them both back, aren't they the same songs? I'm paying for the content. So DirecTV is paying for fuse, we and IFC.

Alright, one for the ladies. Congratulations to them.

NOW can we have BBCA HD next? I talked to D* today (exploratory only) about a new HR34 and whole-home DVR. For that much investment, I think I better get BBCA before I drop that kind of jingle!
