Demand means you will leave for another provider if they do not meet that demand.
Who has it?
Great. I can imagine a famous red head TV housewife begging her "fat" ladies shoe salesman husband that "scored 4 touchdowns in one game" for Polk High to upgrade to DirecTV and buying a HD set for her to watch Oprah Winfrey Network in HD.
I think MTV-U is just for universities
Could Okra be paying for HD carriage? Viewership can't justify it.
I don't know how many more linear HDs will get added by DirecTV leading up to December 31, 2013. With a willingess to challenge myself, I would guess, if we were to receive up to ten , the following have potential.…
235 Style Network HD
238 Reelz Channel HD
240 Home Shopping Network HD
251 Oxygen HD
260 We TV HD
275 QVC HD
294 The Hub HD
295 PBS Kids Sprout HD
328 TV One HD
339 Fuse HD
I am aware that DirecTV and Starz Entertainment LLC signed a contract, a year ago this month, to expand the Starz/Encore programming lineup. This too must be considered. (This keeps in mind MoviePlex is not yet available in linear high definition.)
5xx IndiePlex HD
5xx RetroPlex HD
None of this is considering, or deliberately disregarding, the potential additions of any regional and national sports that are not even carried at all: Comcast SportsNet Houston, Comcast SportsNet Northwest, and the long-desired Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia. Add to this Pac-12 Network.
Jen, you could spell her name right.
I don't understand how people (not necessarily you, Jon) can be so mad about a channel addition that they'll be condescending and insulting. Just don't watch it... simple solution.

Omitted all (non-DNS) West Coast feeds due to previous comments made by Satelliteracer,
except for ION HD West given it's status as a broadcast network.
It used to be but several years ago Viacom merged VHUno with Tr3s and replaced VHUno's feed with mtvU to make it available to all providers. FiOS and a few others now have it.
I haven't checked them all, but Dish has FMC in HD.
I get your point, stigma.

I greatly am pleased with DirecTV’s more-aggressive stance toward adding HD channels. Although I still shout to the heavens in hope of viewing CSN Philly, my more-realistic expectations are Military, Military History (when available), Ovation and Sundance.
No it's not. http://jameslong.name/dishhd.html
FSSDHD what is the #?
They just need to stop blacking out live games.
Thanks. Couldn't find the info on my phone.
What do you mean "we". Please speak for yourself (or be more specific with your pronouns); I am not demanding it, I would like it and am patiently waiting until it happens.
I thought FS SD was coming as a full time HD channel? Yet in Sixto's report it says "694 FSSDHD PT" and it is still on a -1? Is the PT an error by DirecTV?
