Believe it or not, there is a market. Keep in mind, it's possible to buy a $300 faux fur coat for a dog.

But it's not something I'd subscribe to, even as close as I was to my dog.

I would only let my dog watch it if it wre in HD...can't let him watch horrible SD right?:sure: My dog does like watching TV when a dog shows up, he stops to watch TV but no way I'd pay an extra $6 a month for the channel!

So they gave up on G4 a while ago but they're ok with DOG TV, nice real nice. That's why those decision makers get the big $$$$$.

They would have to pay ME $5.99 a month to subscribe to that channel.

I'd rather watch sports every day than watch those channels myself. That wasn't my point though.

My statement was not that "because I don't like sports, everyone that does should boycott sports", my statement was that I do not see anything wrong with players getting their fair share of the proceeds as long as sports fans continue to shell out large sums of money to watch them play.

    That's all...

I now return you to your regularly scheduled topic...

I didn't read the article, but if DOG TV has a $5.99 a month fee to watch, then you can't really compare it to G4. If DirecTV and G4 (soon to be "Esquire") thought they could get $5.99 a month for G4, I suspect it'd still be available... ;)

Well for everyone saying no one will watch it ... Well what comes in #2 behind the Superbowl oh ya that dog bowl. Just a thought this might be better than some of the reality shows.

I had DOG TV when I was with TWC. I turned it on once and my beagle looked at the dogs playing on the screen and then back at me. He then promptly fell asleep.

I'm glad to hear DirecTV is adding DogTV. I leave it on for my dogs everyday while I'm at work. They love it. They will stare at the TV for hours watching. Literally. Right now I pay $10 a month for the service on Roku so this is even better and cheaper for me. :)

I will take the fishing channel first.

Fish are better than dogs, you don't have to walk them, and they don't mess up your house.

I guess $6/month is better than $20+ a day for doggy daycare, ha ha ha.

I wonder how many dogs end up ruining TVs and other stuff because of this channel though.

    To adult PPV?

This is a story I would have expected on April 1st. But everyone has their own tastes and if people are willing to pay for a TV channel for their dog I won't stop them.

Thought that was a cat. Some guy tried to blame his cat for running up porn charges.

There is a channel exclusively for dogs. It's called "DOGTV". It's available on Roku for $9.99 a month.
