Just saw Bloomberg TV is going HD April 25.
I wonder if we'll ever get it.
I don't think DirecTV gets it. :nono2:
I don't know of anyone that even watches that channel. I don't think it has a big following, like the other missing National HDs we are missing.
Well if your friends don't watch it I guess no one does. :nono2:
You missed my point, that it is not as popular as TruTV, AMC, BBC and some of the other more popular ones people have been asking for.
People in the financial sector watch it a lot.
I'm in the financial sector and watch it sometimes but I really don't think this a channel that deserves more precious bandwidth. SD is more than enough, in this particular case, for me. There are other priorities, that's for sure.
BTW, I don't remember anybody mentioning this channel a single time on any of the surveys at Dbstalk.
I think the point is ratings not quality of content or target audience. As with all the missing hd at this point, divisive. No of these channels have the large ratings base that they will overwhelmingly be heralded as the correct choice over any other missing hd channel. They all have their fans and the "any hd is good hd crowd." I think it will be fun if they add channels one at a time. The forums will be alive then.
Any chance of anything new popping up this Wednesday?
Here is where some of that new HD will be going.
I;m glad panama city fl will be coming on line.
Good cite! (Also, good site). A lot of folk will be happy!
We are still under no shortage of actual carrying capacity are we?
Will Directv be using the Spacway sats again? One of them is no longer being used right?
I wonder how many FOX stations will be part of this. The GM of the Bismarck, ND, FOX affiliate said the network isn't approving new retransmission consent deals between independent affiliates and pay TV providers.
Sure. But just like a news channel.... it may be nice to see in HD, but the main purpose of this channel is not entertainment, but purely information. The stocks are not going to rise or fall with it being in HD or SD.
The experience of a well-acted show or documentary is significantly different then that of a financial channel like bloomberg.
I don't know about that, I had a hard time picking the #1 channel I wanted to see in HD in that dbstalk poll. I want the cpans in HD just as much as I want TMC and FMC. I want cpan3 in any form even more...
