Or as soon as you can get an HR 34.
Oh ... yeah
Sorry for the belated response, Graham Norton is definitely in HD on BBCAHD.
Got that. A few times. Thanks. That's a show I will probably watch again.
Surprised it isn't being milked to the 22nd..
D*'s mantra of soon clearly defines not now...but in an ALRIGHT ALREADY kinda tone means we're doing it!!!... and a definite not soon enough but a more latent soon..Soon never means now at D*
so if next wednesday is the light up day..I'll be shocked then and NOW !!
then I'm gonna miss you guys since D* likely wont be rolling out any more HD anytime *SOON, no more posts till then
*see the above definition of soon
Uh. Everyone was stunned that TCM took longer than a week. Where is your expectation coming from that they will delay.
There is no announced time.
Maartena stated a possible light up for next wednesday, (scroll back). MY post was a theoretical whim of a statement (mine at that) in that i'm shocked its that soon..I have no basis or claim or statement that there is any delay..who am I? hah:lol:
No thanks, I'm trying to save up for a DeLorean. I'd prefer to time travel in style.
During my self-actualization, est training, Buddha loving days in the 1970s - om, dude - I learned that the cause of most upsets is unfulfilled expectations.
We'll get them when we get them.
The Tardis has a pool.
I do know that August 15th is also the date that BeIN Sports is going live. That's the first official day of their broadcasting.
So since it is in test already, I would find it strange if they wouldn't launch it on the 15th. And if they launch that one on the 15th, why not launch the others.
Next Wednesday would make sense. But DirecTV has been known not to make any sense in the past.
Happy Day! Looks like the wait was worth it.
I like some of the shows on Ion but only in HD.
And Doctor Who in HD.. smashing.
Kids will be happy for Disney Jr in HD, if they even notice the change. Since they watch it half the time on the set without an HD tuner, maybe not. But maybe now I can get another HD DVR.
and a Cloister Bell for emergencies.
I didn't say I'd like it.
These are great additions, all I really want now is H2.
....and beds with LADDERS!
A few days(weeks?) back, SR mentioned something about Copper on BBC America which premiers on the 19th, so he may have been hinting that it will go live before then.
Sorry for sort of being off topic, but we're talking about BBC America HD. Anyone know when Law&Order:UK will be back on BBC America? My emails to them go unanswered..
In an attempt to stay within forum rules, I'll just state that I'm within Ion's demographic apparently.
Since I'm mainly interested in the original movies, the above isn't really an issue for me.
However, I considered attempting to try and catch up with "Flashpoint" at some point in the future, and the above makes that less appealing of an option.
I am able to censor things myself. If I don't like something, I don't have to watch it, and I'm not that fond of having it done for me.
Thanks for the info!
No Hi Definition channels are a waste. None.
The more channels that go Hi Definition, the more the other channels will feel pressure to get theirs all in Hi Definition, even if that means offering it to providers for no additional money.
