This is self-fulfilling. They are on the largest network not carried by two of the largest providers (DIRECTV and Dish). It would be somewhat silly if it were a show that is in HD with the major cablecos and satellite companies.

 $14.99 for FSC Plus. CRAZY!

    Sports pack: $12.99
    FSC+: $14.99

So if someone wants to partake in these fine channels, it could raise their bill by “up to” $ 27.98. OMG

Bummer. Looks like no “Tiny Festivus Pole” for me.

    Microscopic Festivus Pole

Oh well, I'm happy to have my channel in HD. I feel so sorry for the others still waiting for their channel in HD.

Get the Sports Pack...the SEC game of the week is in HD every week on at least a few RSNs and not blacked out. I know I saw them on MSG HD & SUN HD, to name just 2.

In looking at satracers posts im not sure how you can say there will "likely" be more in august ?

Unless in not reading in between the lines correctly.

I thought he had said that, but I think I may have read it incorrectly. I think he said (when telling us about the festivus next week) that here would be at least one more (August 11th) and that was it. Oops.

You may want to adjust your figures a bit. It is estimated that over 400 million people watched the final game. According to one source, Sponsorship Intelligence, an agency whose figures FIFA itself relies on, 715.1 million people - give or take, one in ten people alive at the time - watched the last showpiece final. These numbers are debatable, but it is certainly a tad higher than your guess. :D

Here's some soccer ratings facts for you to put things in prospective for you. :)

~ ESPN2 is averaging a 0.20 U.S. rating and 290,000 viewers for WNBA coverage this year.
~ The 290,000 viewers for WNBA coverage actually tops the average for Major League Soccer on ESPN2 this season (251,000 through 14 games).

On average, more people are watching the WNBA than the MLS.:lol::lol:

Wow -- sounds like they should create the WMLS to actually bring in some viewership. Who is watching the WNBA? !rolling It must be a punishment for prisoners around the country, who get out of control, to watch the WNBA. Nevertheless, sounds like soccer needs the WMLS, stat.
