That's a good question. And if it's fibered in, will it be uncompressed from Rainbow Media?

Any chance we may see AMCHD go live tomorrow morning? If it's showing up on the mobie devices, maybe there's a slim chance?

"254 amcHD" would look pretty darn nice on my EPG tomorrow morning.:)

We've seen new HD channels pop up on mobile devices a week in advance...

    Expect AMC-HD Friday morning.

I forgot about the Three Stooges being on AMC. Maybe I will occasionally watch the channel.

They actually do not stretch the Three Stooges. Odd as I have seen a stretched movie on AMC as recently as this weekend.

I think the stooges themselves are stretched; it's not your TV.

    The Hour on VOD

I downloaded The Hour on VOD last night and it was an hour long, but no commercials. So i assume you see the whole program when you watch it on VOD.

But tonight's showing of The Hour, which is the first telecast for this week of that show, is still showing that it lasts an hour on BBC America. So it may be that they still cut out 15 minutes of the show even when it is the first showing sometimes. I have put it on record to make sure.

I will watch the actual show in HD and complete from my AppleTV.

Nice way for AMC HD to begin on Directv on Friday morning with two hours of infomercials. Stay classy.

Should AMC change their entire lineup, which was sold time to the infomercial companies, for the few people who'll tune in that early?

Yes, along with a statement saying AMC interrupts their regularly scheduled commercials to bring you the following program!
