Well, it looked better than a DVD to me. Must be the video processor.

I'm disabled with Cerebral Palsy and wouldn't pay $30 for a movie. Sure it's fine for people who work. Just saying.

I'm disabled and would find $30 for new PPV very worthy. Going to the movies with me is a pain in the bum. Either finding a wheelchair van to $rent$ or picking me up in/out of a car...neither are easy. If I call 4 buddies and say, "Want to come watch {insert new movie}? Bring some food & drinks or $5 and we can have a cool time." That's very worth it.

I'm (technically) disabled, and wouldn't pay $30 for a PPV movie. For a Blu-ray of a movie I know I love and will watch repeatedly, sure, but not $30 for a one time viewing. I'm perfectly content to wait until I can get a movie MUCH cheaper.

HOWEVER, I'm very well aware that I'm not the target audience for such an offering...

I agree Hoosier especially if your teams are involved on Tru Tv during the tourney.

Absolutely. It's basically a month-long holiday in this part of the country.

We may have reason to anticipate "ShortsHD"... ;)

It may not be what we want, but I might watch something on it once in a blue moon...

Personally I'm NOT anticipating my next scheduled complaint tomorrow... :(

Curious on why D* keeps getting all the high praise from a handful of bloggers. With all the press that D* ran on the "capacity" of D12, the results are no where what was advertised. I really thought that D* would have given basic subs. more. Not happy but stuck in commitment hell for the next few months. (EPIX-HD and TMC-HD wanted)

What do you mean? They achieved the very capacity levels they advertised. Unless you are referring to something else.

They did indeed hit both the capacity level for up to 200 HD channels they advertised, as well as 30 additional new HD channels they announced.

What is still unknown is what we should be anticipating...what is next, and when.

TMC-HD East feed is in HD on channel 554. I would have preferred EPIX-HD though to Sony HD.

I am not looking for a favorable deal so much as a fair deal. I didn't pick D* because they are the low cost provider and I don't disillusion myself to believe that any favorable position D* gains in negotiations will translate into increased savings to me.

I would prefer that D* came to terms with any reasonable deal even if that meant a small increase in rates to me. AMC is the only channel I watch regularly, and I cringe every time I have to watch it in SD.

Their numbers are padded with RSN that are NOT really national along with other fluff. Strange their national commericals and website railing against Dish indicates only 160. Whose wrong you or Direct?
