Just wondering what some of you might have as predictions as to what we will see from DirecTV in 2011 in regard to new programming, new hardware, software/user-interface updates and anything else? Do you think it will be an interesting year for us?

This presentation will give you some idea of where DirecTV is headed, at least as of May of this year.

More integration with handhelds. I couldn't care less, but I know a lot of younger folks love this stuff.

Handy for business/vacation travelers too, I would think.

I'm sure they will revamp the menu formats somewhat. Probably add more HD channels and PPV and extend VOD.

Anyone think that it might be possible that in the future we will be able to view/manage the DVR List via the web or mobile application?

That's a pretty solid list that seems on target. :)

It's definitely possible. I personally hope we see this very soon.. along with some remote viewing options.

IMO, this is an area that DIRECTV is lacking compared to other providers. Almost everyone else has some sort of mobile phone/iPad/computer application to manage your DVR and/or view content remotely.

While this is a good list...I would be real happy with many more new basic HD channels...preferably in the first quarter at the latest!

The on the go feature would be cool. If they make an app for droid and other platforms where u can watch ur recorded shows or live shows on ur phone
