DirecTV seeking "over the top" rights

    OTT rights would include the right to stream the programs directly to consumers and not use the satellite dish.

    Seems like all signal providers are looking at obtaining OTT rights.

    It'll be a long time before satellite dishes are phased out, if ever.

    A lot of us can't get fast enough internet to watch HD on a big screen.

    But it would be really cool to be able to get the bits of data that my satelite dish misses over the Internet so I don't get dropouts.
