The first Excel attachment to this post, TPN_MAP_Domestic, covers all U.S. DIRECTV Channels and Transponders, CONUS (Continental U.S. or wide/National beams) and LIL (Local-Into-Local or narrow/Spot beams). Satellites at the 95W, 99W, 101W, 103W, 110W and 119W positions are included. Sat D1R at 72.5W is now dark and no longer shown.
Note that at the bottom of the Excel page, there are eight tabs or 'sheets':
    • CONUS TPN MAP all CONUS channels in channel number sequence

    • LIL TPN MAP all Local-Into-Local satellite channels in network number (market name) sequence

    • LIL OTA all Over-The-Air channels in network number (market name) sequence

    • HYBRIDS all hybird channels, in channel number sequence

    • LIL MARKET LIST cross reference information necessary to navigate the LIL TPN Map

    • CHANNEL COUNT a count of channels provided per satellite

    • NETWORK DECODER shows the satellites and transponders graphically as they appear on your receiver's signal strength display

    • TUTORIAL a quick procedure to find your LIL transponders for the very first time
A second Excel attachment, TPN_MAP_LatinAm, covers DIRECTV Latin America transponders. Pseudo Network 0 (Beam Oeste) and Network 1 (Beam Sur) are shown; Network 2 (Beam PR) is not yet included.

Additional details for US Domestic channels are available regarding:
OTA (Over The Air) information and discussion in this DBSTalk thread.
DNS (Distant Network Service) information and discussion in this DBSTalk thread.
LIL (Local-Into-Local) information and discussion in this DBSTalk thread.
All documents are fully unprotected so you may copy and use the data as you wish.
    .
    .
The Excel 'Attached Files', below, are in the old XLS format.

Directv Domestic TP 9 @ 95 Galaxy 3C has been added into my receivers signal meter at 95 west location and tp 23 has been removed. Data does not register this, happened about 2-3 weeks ago, thought you should know. Thanks

    Hey gct;

Any reason why the Network Decoder cell colorings for 95 W (NET 1) have not been changed yet to indicate the Tp. 23 ---> 9 swap confirmed by doctor j back in post #8?

    .

PS. LyngSat has no listing for a Tp. 9 on the G3C bird at 95 W, but I would assume it has to be 11.870 Ghz and using horizontal linear polarization of course.

    HoTat2,

You now have an updated Excel. The data has not changed, so I have not re-named it.

But there are some changes in the support docs:

    • As you pointed out, the Network Decoder required updating. TPN 23 is not presently being used and no longer shows on the decoder. TPN 9 has been added. In addition, TPN 11 is now being used for internal testing and has been added.
    • The "LIL Market List" page has been freshly updated (thanks doctor j) to provide a history of HD LIL DMA's lighting up. When announcements are made regarding the remaining DMA's, those dates will be added to the chart. At this time, of the total 212 DMA's, we still have:
      • 15 DMA's with SD Only Locals
      • 16 DMA's with no LIL services
Thanks for keeping me honest and accurate!
    gct

Current system tables show TPN 9 transmission as Horizontal polarization with a freq of 12205 MHz. [Data is courtesy of P. Smith]. That freq does not fit the normal schema of G3C frequencies. Then again, this IS a test configuration they have labeled Hidden Phantom Cell records.

I have been following the transponder maps for a year, and have found them quite useful. I am baffled by the "Hybrids" sheet. Can someone point me to anything that would help understand what it is telling me?

The name picked by lack of real name and include channels do not belong to normal [conus and LiL] networks, so those 'nets' cover onDemand, push, test, etc channels.
