The attachments to this post cover all U.S. DIRECTV Channels and Transponders, CONUS (Continental U.S. or National beams) and LIL (Local Into Local or Spot beams). OTA (Over The Air) data is not provided in this specific data capture.

A single Excel TPN_MAP provides all the CONUS and LIL data for DIRECTV Satellites at the 72.5W, 95W, 99W, 101W, 103W, 110W and 119W positions.

Three supplemental documents are also provided:

    • A Network-Market-DMA NetworkList cross-reference sheet. This information is particularly useful in understanding the LIL data. The Networklist is updated only when there are changes.

    • A NetworkDecoder map showing the satellites and transponders graphically as they appear on your receiver's signal strength display. The NetworkDecoder is updated only when there are changes.

    • A ChannelCount chart showing the number of CONUS and LIL channels provided by each satellite. The ChannelCount is not updated if changes are only trivial.
All documents are fully unprotected so you may copy and use the data as you wish.

A new updated NetworkList PDF has been entered as a part of Post #1.

The update incorporates the new Nielsen 2011 DMA Rankings which have just been released. A 'Change' column indicates a DMA's increase or decrease in rank order. It is a real study in evolving U.S. demographics.
