Doggie Hower was Doogie's "slow" brother.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, I know that my 8 year old son never watches Discovery Kids. Sometimes the movies that ABC Family shows borders on being non family friendly.

My 5 and 7 year old were fond of 'Kenny the Shark' but that was about the extent of it.

I think it's owned by Hasbro. They're going to show all the old cartoons they have the rights to, like G.I Joe, Transformers, and Strawberry Shortcake.

Just a reminder: Discover Kids becomes The Hub today.

Great shows from my childhood: Fraggle Rock, Family Ties, The Wonder Years, Doogie Howser MD, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Transformers, and G.I. Joe (though it's a NEW G.I. Joe show).

Forget the kids, adults will love these shows. I've got a bunch of stuff set up to record on Tuesday early, my primetime is full.

And they're doing them in order, starting with the pilots. Most of these shows are of the timeless variety. Doogie might be a bit dated with the medical tech etc, but the story lines likely hold up.

Ok Call me dumb but what channel is this on... I, for the life of me can not find it.

And I would love to record those Wonder Years episodes!

Hasbro owns it along with Discovery Communications. My father works at Hasbro so I know a little about it, but I have no need for the channel being in my twenties.

So, when is this going HD?

I assume the newly produced shows of Transformers and GI Joe will be HD.

Let's not forget that The Hub also has the original GI joe at Midnight and for real classic TV, Batman staring Adam West. Let's see Cartoon Network or any other network try that.

I checked out "Family Game Night" for a few minutes earlier, it was 16:9 letter box, which leads me to believe that its shot in HD.

I think there's a lot to love on this network, though I'm not sure exactly what I will love yet. I'm definitely interested in Fraggle Rock (I think that has a lot of Muppet fans salivating) and there's a few other shows I'm planning to look into as well.

Would it be a possibility that this channel is among the new HD offerings in the next couple weeks? If it is, I will be as thrilled as a kid in a candy store!
