FYI: It isn't just you. :)

If you're having trouble reaching the DISH website ( http://www.dishnetwork.com/ ) the IP is currently pointing to 127.0.0.1

I've checked their official DNS server, and the problem is at the top ... and has propagated. TTL is 5 minutes so when it is fixed the site should return.

I couldn't get there a few minutes ago either.

When others were reporting issues over the weekend, I didn't have any... but today I'm in the problem-camp.

It should get better ... at least now the primary DNS is giving an IP.

It was simply down yesterday morning. I noticed around 7am ET but I got in later in the day. Today's event was stranger.

    The 5 under $50 are:
DISH America (HD only version of AT120 - $10 off)
    AT120 ($15 off = $29.99)
    AT120+ ($15 off = $34.99)
    AT200 ($20 off = $39.99)
    AT250 ($20 off = $49.99)
Discount ends in one year. Base price guaranteed until 2013.

Coulda' been a routing issue somewhere. I was just having trouble hitting another site I'd been on all day. Only loaded blank pages for about a half hour, but now back to normal --- sort of.

I was reading an article on another Web site (dslreports.com) talking about how a recent takedown of some suspect Web sites by Homeland Security also resulted in some benign Web sites being taken down too as a result of a takedown of a DNS domain!

It made me wonder if there was any relation to the recent Dish Web site problems... or if this was purely a Dish issue.

DISH is pretty much self hosted - and hosed earlier today. Still a bit slow.

I'm able to log in to my account with FireFox but not Safari today. As others noted there were issues yesterday which seemed resolved mid evening PST, today is another thing. I did read something yesterday at Sat.Guys about a fiber optic cable being cut, we'll more then likely never know for sure. My Dish Online beta" TV listings have returned after being missing for several weeks.

Isn't that fiber what was cut when VOOM came to dish ? :)
That time it was an excuse to water down HD resolution from 1920x1080 to 1440x1080, what we still have today for many many years. :(

I can reach the site but haven't been able to login to order ppv the last few times I've tried over the past week or so.
