Well, I always watch the women's ice skating.:D IMHO they are the most graceful, elegant and beautiful athletes in the world. I think the russian girl Irina Slutskaya is an absolute doll. BTW - we're sitting there watching last night via DVR and my 16 y.o. ballerina daughter sees the girls grab their ankles above their heads and says "I can do that". She then proceeds to stand up and demonstrate this unatural ability. I think of my guns and Chuck Norris Texas Ranger and beating the crap out of any punk boy who dares to even cast an eye upon her. A dad thing. Also - BTW - just for the record - I'll probably skip the manly events. Athletic men in spandex do nothing for me.:nono2:

My wife has been known to record a show even when she is home just so she can watch it later to skip the commercails. I'll pause at the beginning of a commercail break to take out the dog, run to the restroom, ect come back and fast forward trhough the commercail break.

SOOO... You want to look at someone else's young daughter, but you don't want anyone looking at your young daughter?

I think what we have here is what we call a DOUBLE STANDARD!!!

Exactly Laverne! Except Irina, the one that really caught my eye is 26 or 27, I think.

DVR = digital video recorder. Try it, you'll like it!

Hell ya! I'll do anything it takes to get rid of commercials. Commercial free music thanks to XM and Sirius and skipping commercials on TV thanks to DVRs. I’ve been using DVRs for 4 years. Whether it was the very primitive Dish 501 and 508, the best thing since sliced bread, the DirecTiVo or my Sci Atl 8300HD I’ve loved skipping passed commercials.

Now in the process of skipping commercials during a program I WILL skip back and watch the commercial if it's for Ford Trucks or Victoria's Secret :) Other then that screw, I don’t care what your tring to sell, I don’t want it. Since my prime TV watching hours are from 1AM to 6AM channel surfing yields many infomercials (thank you TW for 43 movie channels and 25 On Demands). Pjmrt, If I happen to see a Time Life Infomercial I will watch a little bit of it also. I put it on pause boot up the computer, launch Limewire download a bunch of the songs they are trying to sell me for free. :)

Did I someone commit a serious forum faux pas, Nick??

FYI, there appear to be three less mods here than there were two weeks ago. :(

I noticed, Laverne. Maybe it's the pay, or lack thereof.
