Do I need to do a hard reboot to get the others ?

Looks like readings for 119° - Can you select 110° on your signal level screen to get the rest of the transponders.

110 and 119 both show only TP 01 to TP 21 on the Point Dish Screen.

Any other screen I should be using ?

    TP 12- 38
    TP 18- zero
    TP 20- zero
    TP 23- 66

TP 26- 37-43 and bouncing all over that range
    TP 27- 58

Milwaukee is on TP 4 and that's really low, LaCrosse and Green Bay is on TP 23 and that's only at 66. TP 27, 29 and 31 are all from the same spotbeam but those are off as well.

Grampaw, reboot your rcvr, if that doesn't work, check sw rev.

Mattoid, you have the repeating 10 glitch, reboot your rcvr.

ehren, could we get ConUs readings, too, pls? (esp. 7/13/17)

Stephen J, follow link in the first post of this thread for info about signal levels; you may also have the repeating 10 glitch, reboot your rcvr.

New software release for 4900 fixed my problem with transponders that refused to lock; if 110 tps don't lock, suggest checking for new sw.

Tony, I am quite a bit better off than you regards the E*10 Spotbeam 13, as I am 60 to 70 miles inside the purported footprint. Yet while I get that spot at near CONUS levels for TP 18 and TP 26, I barely break squelch on TP 20, and TP 12 is absolute zero. Why such a variance and will this eventually be evened out so that the SB-!3 footprint is maintained constant from all TPs?

    Thanks,

    JoJo

Are they still tinkering with the spots? I get a very low signal on my locals. The signal is around 46. My locals are Minneapolis-St. Paul. Here are my readings for 110. On 119 my signals are from 91-104.

Transponder reading from southern New Jersey (just outside Atlantic City):

04 - varies between 40 and No Signal
    12 - 89
    18 - 93
    20 - 93
    23 - 51
    25 - 73
    26 - 91
    27 - No Signal
    29 - 48
    31 - 96

(Will update tonight with CONUS transponder readings.)

I still can't figure why I get all of the Spot 4 transponders (4s4, 12s4, 18s4, 20s4, 26s4) OK except for 4s4 - do they really have transponder 4s4 powered down that low? Also, according to wkomorow, western MA gets 4s4 OK, but can't get 18s4, 20s4, or 26s4 - how can this be? Do individual transponders have their own coverage patterns?

Same question for the Spot 5 transponders (23s5, 25s5, 31s5) - I would have expected consistent similar readings for these but they are all over the place. And a user in MD (Voyager6) gets lower readings for these MD / VA spots than I get in New Jersey. ???

I have rebooted my system twice. Once yesterday and once today. Do I need to unplug for a while instead of holding the power button?

Hmm... I always unplug to reboot, but I don't know if that makes a difference. Anyway, if rebooting doesn't help, you might want to make sure you have the latest software, and if not, force a download.

From the available maps, New Jersey and Harrisburg are both well outside the footprint of Spot 2 (4s2) - surprised that there would be that much of an interference issue. It would be useful if someone from southern VA / NC could give a reading for 4s2, perhaps it is lit up in "torch" mode and causing more interference than expected.

I did a reboot and readings for locals are still only around 46. The levels were around 103 before they went to E*10. The SW version is L293 also.

Voyager6 it looks like the signal on your locals are low too. My locals are Minneapolis-St. Paul. I get around 50 on those. I sure hope they work out the bugs. I was getting around 103 before they brought E*10 online.
