Earl, your review was posted on slashdot.org today.

Looks like you're making a name for yourself.

    Congrats!

I hope the dbstalk servers can handle it - being slashdotted has taken down sites from the flood of hits it generates!

We should be OK today. The server is getting pounded but it's holding up. We know we can handle at least 3600 users like we did the other day and we haven't come close to that yet.

This is yet another great day for the Earl-meister. Congrats Earl!

Being slashdotted isn't what it used to be. ;) Being dugg is now the big thing and this was dugg yesterday.

    Bainbridge...
Well, I did have a few occasions where the server hiccuped on me Thursday and said to try again later. I thought it was happening today, but discovered it was a DSL problem (thanks, Qwest!)

On Thursday the server was having other issues that had nothing to do with the traffic which is why you got that message.

You're welcome! :) At least for being dugg ... I had nothing to do with the slashdotting.

I do appriciate ALL the links and submissions that you all have put out there for the thread.

It really isn't about "me".... don't get me wrong... I think it is cooler then hell though... and it has been great reading all the thanks and "good jobs" everywhere....

I am just a "geek" that likes to play with electronics and "toys" (Thanks dad for infecting me with that bug...) and I also learned from him (my dad), how to get a message accross in a way that most people will enjoy the message and won't get to "boggled" by jargon and other stuff...

This all Reminds me when I started my Win95 "Theme" site.. Mushmouth 12ish years ago.... And Yahoo was just a "submit" your link site...
