Is this an end-around to the Weather Channel? Is it really to measure what kinds of weather affect satellite reception? What's this about "social networking"? All I know is this three-paragraph blurb I saw in Satellite Today: http://www.satellitetoday.com/st/headlines/39379.html?hq_e=el&hq_m=2510955&hq_l=24&hq_v=1e95650a89

(I searched the Dish forums and didn't see anything on this. If I missed something, never mind. :) )

So, you DO need a weatherman to tell which way the wind is blowing! :nono2:

I'll stick with my Weather Rock. It's suspended with a cord. If it's swaying it's windy. If it's wet it's raining. If it's white it's snowing. If I can see it's shadow it's sunny. If I can't it's cloudy. Very Accurate. ;)

And if the cord is horizontal the the ground, you're either in Gale Force 7 winds, or a nuclear blast....

One problem. DISH doesn't do roofs.
