Entertainment package. No sports. You were complaining about the RSN fee. I merely provided a solution for you to not pay it.

The channels I watch are in Xtra package, so of course I don't want Epix in there if it will raise the cost.

Do you even read stuff before responding?

    Yep I can

    3 cinemax out of 7
    4 HBO out of 7
    2 missing starz
    1 missing The Movie channel
    4 Missing Showtimes
    Up untill last few years.

Unless you are a Directv newbie you should have already know that.

Once again, you claimed that they were not into premiums and that they had less than any other provider. You list does nothing to support those claims whatsoever.

Two completely different things...TV providers & premium channels. One is available on a 1:1 customer ratio (TV Provider), the other is available across many platforms (premium channels)

Well you can go with FiOS...oh wait, they have that RSN fee too.

That RSN fee won't go away, it will increase in frequency with many (if not all) providers.

Everyone Knows Directv was supposed to lauch a big HD release too for the premiums, that took over 2 years.

Anyone with an SD receiver knows the poor amount of premiums there are. Well that up untill 2011 was the entire line up.

    Again:

You claimed that DirecTV wasn't into premiums.
You claimed that DirecTV had fewer than any other provider.

Nothing you have offered supports that...still.

Not all cable systems had those, including big systems like Dallas area TWC.

Comcast is cutting down to 1 HD HBO and relying on On Demand. Having 10 could be a selling point.

Yes it could. But that is just marketing. With the nearly instant way that cable VOD works, having just one live isn't really all that big a deal imo.

I've used cable and fios on demand. Doesn't work as well as advertised. Both Comcast and fios have drop outs. And bad trick play and often don't remember where you were when you watched last.

Comcast is doing it only because they have a linear bandwidth crunch and are trying to market their way out of it rather than embrace newer technologies largely because of old infrastructure.

No but a lot did !:)

Directv had an East and West Cinemax along with MoreMax may for over 10 years. Nothing more, no premiums added then either, Untill Dish and the competition started adding more HD premiums and Directv was Dead last.

Only then did Directv start producing premium movie channels. And everyone here knows this. Well.

In case you all for got Dish had More Premium movie channels in SD and HD then Directv did.

Ask James Long. I bet he has all the papers to back that up.

What does that even mean? Your claims were not accurate and you haven't offered anything to dispute that. DirecTV has always shown a great deal of interest in adding premiums that held value. Epix simply has not shown itself to be worth the cost.
