I don't subscribe and want to see the N.C. State-UNC game on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, the local Raycom affiliate will be showing Virginia vs. Virginia Tech. Can I buy access to Full Court for one day in order to see the State-Carolina game?

Not 100% sure, but probably not. I know with the sports pack, you have to keep it for at least 30 days.

I see the game is on channel 655. Couldn't he just order the sportspack for $12 or $13 and have it for the month?

I don't know if you can order single games from full court or not but I seem to remember a price tag over $30 to see single games from other sports packages.

655 is an RSN. If that isn't his RSN, then the game will be blackout out unless he has Full Court...

I know it's an RSN but I thought the blackout rules only affected pro sports.

    Guess not. :)

you might want to double check, just for grins and giggles. most college games aren't blacked out and are available for viewing with sportspak.

This is definitely true. I canceled Full Court this season, because I figured out that I could get EVERY Uconn game on SNY via Sports Pack, no blackouts! In fact, I see 100% of the Big East games on SNY. And all of those games are also on Full Court.

The thing is that the game I'm talking about -- N.C. State at UNC -- is not on a regional sports network. It's a Raycom ACC network game. If it's not on an FSN or a CSN, I still think my only way to see it is through Full Court. (That's what I found during the Full Court free preview.)

ice r, go to the raycom website, it should give you a lost of affiliates who will be broadcasting today's game. you may find it on one of your local channels.

They don't have the list up for Wednesday's games. But I can only get one Raycom affiliate. Given that I'm in Virginia, it's a mortal lock that we're getting Virginia-Virginia Tech instead of UNC-N.C. State.

    Castle...
I know this is a little late but Sports pack works if the game is on RSN ...this link will help the most I think to determine that

    http://mattsarz44017.tripod.com/basketball2008.html

plus if you Internet service provider pays EPSN something you may be able to receive ESPN360.com which has all the Fullcourt games on live streaming video ...I have Verizon Fios at my house and we get ESPN360 and I find it quite handy during College Football season (ABC regional games mostly)

I actually recommend people get sportspack instead of either Fullcourt or Game plan .... I think there is more value in it ...

Actually it is. Channel 655 which is FSN Florida alternate.

I just don't know if they will black it out for you or not.

FYI to the OP. The NC State/UNC game is NOT blacked out on 655. I have the Sports Pack, and do NOT have ESPN Full Court.

My question had a happy ending for me. I added the Sports Pack and got to see my Tar Heels beat the Wolfpack. :)

Now I'm on the hook for a month of the Sports Pack at the minimum, right?

I am a Tarheel fan as well, and I enjoyed the game on 655. However, I have to say that the video quality was the worst for any game that I've seen all season. My wife actually couldn't bear to watch it, it was that bad.

I wish there was some way to get UNC games in HD all the time without worrying about Raycom issues....

Awesome! Glad it worked out for you! :)

Yes, you will need to keep it for 30 days or else pay a penalty...

Interesting that game was on 655. FSN-FL blacks out frequently. I guess if it is an ACC game and you live in the ACC footprint, it opens up.
