Their most popular shows cancelled and nothing but Cops and Campus PD reruns with endless girls gone wild infomercials?

"G4 will remain as is" = until they figure out what channel they want to turn it into. It won't fold, they won't give up that distribution.

universal sports can be come that but it's not even on most Comcast systems and very few systems have it in HD.

I don't watch G4 or Style. They should get Leo back on G4. But I know they wouldn't.

i see G4 turning the channel WWE has been trying to launch, so i see in 2014, G4 becomes the WWE Network, the first 24/7 channel for pro wrestling that the WWE has been planning on launching for years now.

According to a filing to the State of CT PURA by Cablevision, NBCU is shutting down G4 on 10/10.

NBCU should move universal sports or even chiller in to that slot to get the channels on to more systems in HD as well comcast that does not have both on most systems.

I doubt that carriage contracts would let them substitute an already existing channel into that slot. They already have to re-negotiate with most carriers when they change an existing channel to something new.

I really don't see them letting the agreements they still have for G4 to go to waste. Layoff notices with a state's labor department doesn't mean the channel is going away. They could easily program it with two guys and a control room in New York.
