As we finalize the "Third Look" document, use this thread to bid your farewell. This private forum will be closing later this week.

Hx24-200 folks, please wait a few more days before you change your setups. It won't be much longer now and we'll give you the all clear.

It's been real... it's been fun... but I can't say it's been real fun. Wait a minute, yes, I can! :D

Though I haven't participated in this private section much these days, I'll miss it when it goes. :(

    Farewell.... :(

I have really enjoyed the testing of both units and hope that I will be granted the chance again. Its not really a farewell, and no need to be sad Titan, since we will all be talking on the main ce thread as we continue to improve these units.

I have enjoyed the process and want to thank the powers that be who invited me. I am available for future testing and as a house spouse I do have plenty of time for testing.

    Thanks again.

Seems this has been a successful run for most of us and i hope for the continued success of the -24's. Now i gotta look into getting a Panny 3D to enhance my viewing experience. These two coupled together should do just that. :) Just viewed a Panny VT25 demo at a local retailer and it was amazingly awesome.

Doug, when are you going to tell everyone all that the receivers need to be sent back after the trial is over?

But really, Thanks DirecTV, DBSTalk.com and the Moderators for the invitation to test the latest and greatest. It certainly has been a lot of fun.

My first opportunity to do any field testing and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the chance. Hopefully the regular CE's will bring us some of the same excitement in the future. :)

Well, the HR24-200 has been a smooth machine and I am proud to have had the opportunity to test it prior to launching it nationally (same with the HR24-500 and H24-100). Thanks to the moderators for choosing me, to DirecTV for providing such a clear winner as far as hardware is concerned, smoken, and to the rest of you testers, because without you small idiosyncrasies would never be found. We work well as a team, thanks!
