Fell in my lap; what do I have?

    Listed below is a receiver, access card and dish that just fell into
    my lap. I have no idea what I have or it's capabilities. I do have
    a major background in computers and a minor one in electronics and
    do not mind hunting around if a few kind souls would point me in the
    right direction. Would appreciate any heads-up like "Dude you are
    so lucky" or "Dude you got an obsolete piece of trash", etc.

    12 digit number beginning in 0001 (the card id number apparently)
    8 digit alpha numeric identifier: HUxxxx4B (x's substituted for
    actual numbers)
    12 digit alpha numeric identifier: H00xxxxxxxxx (x's substituted for
    actual numbers)
    A note to the effect that the card is "provided for reception of
    authorized 101 degree W longitude satellite services."

    LNB/FEED HORN (hope this is the correct term) on the dish
    DIRECT TV

    - has one standard coaxial cable connector on it.
