D* Fox East HDTV feed looked fine to me the last two nights. I was looking for problems with people's complaints here but I couldn't see any.

Uh not around here. CBS's football games look horrible compared to the FOX games. Our CBS games pixilate and the FOX games are stunning and never pixilated.

Coverage was much better on TBS. So glad they covered the NLCS rather than Fox. PQ and announcers much better on TBS.
Wondering why the coverage started at 7PM since the game didn't start until 7:35. That was 35 minutes of mostly commercials, a really stupid comedy segment, the National Anthem (very well done by JT) and a little bit of dumb commentary. Terrible announcers for both the pre-game and game broadcast. Even during the game they spent more time talking about other teams, non game issues and interviewing coaches than they did on actual game coverage. Two Colorado batters flied out to the wall during one interview without a mention of what was happening. Other routine plays got endless multiple replays that extended into the next batter. Terrible!

I presume everyone will be skipping school and taking the afternoon off from work to get their free Taco Bell taco on Tuesday afternoon. What a lame giveaway.

And the selling of it on the air, interviewing the president of Taco Bell. What a snivelling jerk!. That was Tim McCarver's best line all night: "From one Schilling to another schilling.

I switched to the football game right after that for a while.

Maybe when they get to Colorado, Coors will give away a can of beer to everyone after the first error.

The 720p vs 1080i argument comes up all the time. For football, I definitely prefer FOX's PQ to CBS or any of the other 1080i networks due to a lot less motion blur and artifacts in the picture (and no, the CBS affiliate here does not multicast), but I tend prefer baseball broadcasts in 1080i though. Since baseball is a much slower game, I don't notice the blurring and pixelating nearly as often.

It really comes down to personal preference though, and all of them look so superior to SD that I'm not one to complain much anyway.

I watched the game OTA and the picture was great--however--on three different fox channels - the sound was spotty. SO I assumed it was the Fox feed. Analog signals had perfect sound. (I only watched the first game.)

I completely disagree. Looked like crap on both OTA from WAGA & on D*. Shimmering grass, out of focus backgrounds on long shots. It looked like the average Falcons game on FOX5 Atlanta.

I couldn't believe that Fox actually let that Taco Bell Ad happen right during the game, rather than during one of the 2 to 3 minute commercial breaks. I'll bet Taco Bell paid a lot of money for that.
