HR-44 will not allow me to record the free Cinemax. I did expect this day to happen.

Someone on DirecTV's Facebook page posted if you do not watch the things you recorded to your DVR during the free weekend in a certain amount of time you would lose access to them unless you subscribed to HBO. Is that correct? I have never heard that before but someone else agreed with them.

Are you sure they weren't talking about HBO-VOD stuff downloaded during the freeview?

    Sherman...
This past weekend, I watched a couple movies that I'd recorded from Starz/Encore channels during a free preview back in April. I've previously watched movies recorded over a year earlier (from all the pay channels). I'm going to say that Facebook poster is wrong.

Thanks, that is what i thought. Just wanted to make sure nothing has changed. I recorded Ted and some other things this weekend and am hoping to watch... eventually. :)
