3.06 at Murphy on 103st across Walmart in Jacksonville fl.
$3.02 at Sam's Club in Aurora, CO Cheapest I have seen without needing a membership is $3.08 at a Safeway in Elizabeth, CO
$3.11.9 in suburban Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC is probably the lowest for the last couple of years. We had hit $3.13.9 a few times in recent months, but had typically been a dime a gallon higher during this recent interval.
$2.79 at Chevron and Shell in Texas City, TX.
I've seen $2.89 a couple places in Katy but most are closer to $2.99
$2.95, Wantage, NW NJ
I should have bought a storage tank back then. The local prices have steadily gone up over the last two weeks, and now where the lowest price stations in each nearby gasoline station district are about 20 cents per gallon over where they were two weeks ago. I just paid $3.39.9 for a 29 gallon fll-up today, and the lowest recent price I have seen anywhere locally is $3.33.9.
$3.32 In Manchester NH this afternoon.
Not much recent action in this thread. Here in suburban Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC, we've been stuck on a mid to upper $3.30s plateau for a couple of months now. On the other hand, I can still stock up on boneless, skinless chicken breast filets for $1.99 a pound and often get 2 liter Diet Cokes for $1 each, so two of my three main non-residency related expenditures are still priced favorably.
I've noticed that as I haven't posted in over three months.
I can't believe it's been this long since I posted in this thread. At the corner of Highway 101 and SR 20 in Willits, California:

Safeway gives 3¢ off per gallon with its club card which costs nothing. You get can 10¢ off if you've purchased at least $50 in groceries recently and that is cumulative, meaning we got $1.00 per gallon off when we filled up. Of course, we fed a lot of visiting family members, so we got a lot of dime credits.
We satellite dish installers make so much money that we don't even pay attention to piddling little things like gas prices. Prices continue to trend upwards in suburban Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC, and now are at close to $3.50 a gallon, up about 30 cents from last November.
Six minths, no posts. I guess price fluctuations in the $3-$4 a gallon gas price range just aren't newsworthy anymore.
We've been steadily trending downward here for a couple of months now. I can buy gas in Laurel MD for $3.11, and in subruban Maryland here, ten miles out of Washington DC, for $3.21 - $3.23 a gallon.
$2.99 a gal. in Oklahoma today.....
Interesting map. It shows the total tax per state.
As an ex New Englander, I am quite surprised to see that Connecticut is lower than New York. I used to frequently drive up the coast in the 1990s, and of course I always filled up at a New Jersey gas station (Vince Lombardi Plaza) just to make sure that I would get through Connecticut without filling up. I don't remember New York gas prices being all that high back in that era. Have their state taxes gone up more than most in the past decade? And I don't remember Vermont prices being higher than New Hampshire's. For eons, many motorists used to drive back from Hanover, New Hampshire to White River Junction, Vermont, for late night fill-ups before heading down desolate I-89 to Concord.
I think your map is outdated -as far a VA info - in 2013 va dropped it's 18 cent state tax per gallon and raised the sales tax state wide 1.5 cents passing the saving on to every resident.
The fed Tax rate of 18 cents a gallon is still in there current price is $3.05
California is high because it imposes a sales tax on top of the existing federal and state gas taxes. Currently that's 9.5% in LA county.
Illinois is like that as well. They add a sales tax on top of the other taxes.
I filled up Sunday for $2.95 at the local Shell using the regular series gas in Texas City, TX..
I got gas in LA this week for $3.45 at Costco. That's the lowest I've seen in this state for awhile. There's a 2% rebate for using the Costco Amex card which brings the price down to $3.38. I'm dropping the final 9 in these prices, i.e $3.459.
