Genie FW (x725) update

    someone said the new Genie FW (x725) update apparently takes care of the pop up annoying message ?

    I have to call Direct tv about error code issue should I tell em to do the Genie FW (x725) update ?

    You don't tell them "to do" the update. You wait until the update is sent to your Genie.

    The answer has not changed. Your HR34 will get the new software update when it's scheduled to get it. There's no way to speed up the process. Just be patient. You've had this DVR for a few weeks now, so hopefully you already have more than 6 Series Recordings setup and are no longer seeing that popup message.
