Hi, wondering if I can take the Mini Client (with a dish) to tailgating party or camping? I'm guessing not with how small it is and that it is probably dependent on the Genie Adv.

    Thanks

It had no tuner so it will not work. You'll need an H25.

No, but an H25 is fairly small as well, and works great.

The downside is that the H25 demands SWiM and that often complicates truly portable configurations.

The H24 isn't as small, but it is considerably more flexible in terms of the dish setup and it supports RF remote out of the box for the majority of situations where having the box outdoors is a bad idea.

    Or use a SWiM LNB.

Or get an H24, they are still available from third party retailers.

And a "B Band Converter" (BBC) to work with a non-SWiM LNB. :)
