    Wondering if I am understanding the capabilities of the GenieGo. I want to be able to watch things I have recorded when, say, I am at work, using my iPad. From what I read, the GenieGo is able to do this. Am I correct? I don't want to buy one unless it is able to do this.

    Yes you can, either by having the GenieGo transcode ("prepare") and then download programs from your (internet connected) HD-DVR(s) to your iPad for you to take with you.

    Or lately the GenieGo can now stream recorded (or in the process of recording) content over the internet to your iPad, sort of like a sling box.

    Download the manual for a full explanation of the unit and its capabilities (and limitations) here;
