I've been waiting for "more" HD since I got the Samsung 360 in Jan, 06 a little longer is not really a big deal. Surely not anything to get the blood pressure up over.

    :)

Valid point. Some of us assume the qualifier, but it could have been explicit.

I though that YES was. Not sure about SNY. I'm not in NYC. But they're probably being pulled off of the spotbeam bird for now, unless you have indeed made a very valuable discovery!

I have never seen an internal schedule ever give a date and then say "or not."

Anything we saw even semi-official was an internal document that was leaked. Nothing official ever.

But, do airline schedules or train schedules say "9:10 or maybe not if the plane/train is late?"

I cant be pissed at Directv as the date was not set in stone. I was extremely angry :new_cussi that my tv wouldnt switch on during what was suppose to be a grand HD event. So I went out to Circuit City to checkout tv's.When I came home I smacked the hell out of my tv & what do you know ?? it powered on.:icon_bb:

I'm sure the folks coming to this thread to vent have disappointment. Nothing wrong with that.

YES HD is 622 and SNY HD is 625. They kept the same number as promised. My guide shows two times 622 and 625 (top one standard, second one HD).

YES HD was NOT on full time. They just showed the games like NFL Network.

A question - did you recently add HD Access/get an HD receiver?
I'm in the NY DMA, and have had YESH and SNYH on those channels since I got my 1st HR20 in April - and while not all content is HD, any content that is HD is broadcast in HD - 24/7.

It is because I never received Spotbeams due to reasons too long to explain. However, I just had these channels added today. I always had Premier with HD access.
