"Bush administration and U.S. military officials have repeatedly exaggerated the intelligence value of detainees at Guantanamo Bay military prison in Cuba as well as the danger they pose, it was reported Monday.

...The New York Times reported, citing interviews with high-level military, intelligence and law-enforcement officials in the United States, Europe and the Middle East

Well of course they have. The Bush "administration" is like a magic show. They try and focus your attention away from the problems so the slight of hand works better.

Show me a newspaper that has never lied about anything. If you go by that reasoning, then you can't read a newspaper. Every newspaper has these problems, the way they handle it shows how good they are.
