I currently subscribe to the hd extra pack and i get the 721 error anyone else getting this?
Refresh your receiver.
Todd H is right, that should be all it takes.
did that and still the same.
Try refreshing your service online at Directv.com
It will take a few minutes to work. If after about five minutes it still isn't working I'd give DirecTV a call. After refreshing my receivers, it started working a couple of minutes later.
Hallmark Movie channel is part of HD Extra. Do you have that on your account?

I'm getting a 721 on all three receivers even after a reset from the menu.
You need to do a "refresh" from your directv.com account. Or call customer support and have them do it.
A refresh is a tool the sends the authorization code to your receiver via the sat signal.

I called D* and their auto service was able to fix it. I thought that was neat because, of course, it was too early to talk to a CR. I didn't think of doing a Refresh myself
I don't understand why the channel just doesn't come on by itself!
I also called D* to activate the Hallmark Movie Channel.
Got a very friendly guy on the phone around 11:00AM.
While he was checking my account I asked him if they were getting many calls regarding the new HD channels that had been turned on.
Very casually, he replied, "We turned on new channels today? I didn't know that".
I told him I was happy to help.
Refresh your receiver what i had to do.. took a few hours for guide to ungray..
I had to do a refresh last night on my HR20-100 to get any HD channels back. I also had to do a menu restart. The HR23 has no problems.
