Noob here, if I'm posting in the wrong area, maybe someone can let me know.

Just switched to Dish and everything seems ok, esp the HD stuff, but our Harmony remote (550) doesn't play nice with the new dish receiver-- laggardly responds to key strokes, balky/no response, etc.

Worked effortlessly w/ our old Directv system.

    What's different?

Am going to post in the logitech forums as well just wondered if anyone has had a similar prob or knows where to point me to start looking for a solution.

    Thanks for looking!

My guess, and that's all it is, is that there may be a timing issue. And the Logitech Forum is a good place for help. The AVS forum and Remote Central are good also. For what it's worth I used a 550 with a 625 and then a 622 with no problems. Don't really know why I got a One. Except it just looks sexier than a 550 :p

I'd already posted to Logitech-- AVS and Remote Central are next (funny, I've been a member of those for years now)

Shortened the timing by as much as I can--improved to just useable now.

    Thanks for the response.

With you about the 550 lacking sexiness but in my budget not much room for that =)
