Hi. I am a new DirecTV customer. I ordered the MRV and paid the $25 for the Internet connection. The installer showed up with the 2 HR24-500, but also a R16-500 which he said wouldn't work with MRV. He put the DECA unit in the den connected to thecable outlet and then plugged it into the ethernet port of our DSL Router (2Wire 1000sw). Nothing is plugged in to the two HR24 and they both connect to the internet and VOD and share a playlist. They sent me a H24-700 to replace the R16. I cannot get this one to network at all. It says that there is no internet connection detected. At first I thought it was the band filter so I took it off and then it connected and could see one other receiver then it lost it and lost its connection. Various error messages have come up including: 70-045, 70-73-949 and 71-73-523. I have reset the satellite setup and other things that have been suggested throughout the threads, but I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

There's no ethernet to the H24, right?

What does the info screen show for the network settings/status?

Ethernet cable is not connected to any of them. Under advanced setup here is what it says from top to bottom:
    172 16 1 36
    255 255 0 0
    172 16 0 1
    172 16 0 1

I was more looking for the "main" info screen where it would say "coax network", but I'd guess with these numbers, it does.
You've re-run the SAT setup which got the DECA going again. Have you done a simple reboot since you lost connection?

All set! Restored defaults to H24 one, and then hard reset, and hard reset for the other two DVR's and it all works now. Thanks for all of your help!
