Yes! Starting in April 2011, DIRECTV customers will be able to watch movies and shows online on HBO GO® and MAX GO® — new streaming services, available to all HBO® and Cinemax® subscribers at no additional charge

Also they put a Ad in my bill about it, sorry if this is already posted.

I won't pay $17.00 a month for any pay channel. I don't have enough time to watch 17 movies a month and I have a redbox with Blue Rays right around the corner. At most I watch 5 or 6 movies a month and that is only in the winter.

With that being said I previously have subscribed to Starz/Encore because I like the older movies as well (things I can't get in a red box). I dropped them two years ago only for a lack of HD feeds after having them most of the last 5 or 6 years before that.

Our video stores have all closed so I'd love to have Encore in HD. I would never stop that if all those feeds were HD. I don't need the others honestly. Would consider HBO if all feeds were HD and it was $8 or $10 a month.

If Major League Baseball decided to contract by combining the Toronto and Tampa Bay teams, that's what you'd get. :D
