Today's HD NCAA basketball coverage looked like internet video on WOWK 13. Had to switch to over the air reception. My other HD locals look bit starved also.
Can someone please explain to me...... Why can't I get these channels living in Parkersburg? Now I understand why I can't get NBC, or even fox for that matter because our only local affiliate Wtap carries those networks. However for abc and CBS parkersburgs locals are wchs and wowk. Why can't I at least get these stations and save me about $4 a month paying for new York stations.
You are in a different Market. I had the same problem until just recently when DirecTV added Beckley/Bluefield.
What exactly is their channel number now? I have a different antenna that I thought was both VHF/UHF and even though I get WSAZ and WQCW, I can't get ANYTHING on WOWK.
I believe they went back to 13. Used to be on 47.
If you get WSAZ on 23, then you should be able to get WOWK on 13 assuming similar power.
WQCW - 30 needs to be added to the list in the 1st post.
