Had an HDMI cable crap out in the bedroom. Used the cable from other room's H20 and it worked, so I had to switch the receiver to composite and plug in the green, blue, 2 reds and a white to get it to work with the TV. It's an H20-600. The cable itself came with receiver, is that covered under the PP?

I does say cables are covered. I can't tell if that's coax, the connection cables, or both.

It would seem that it does cover HDMI cables but I would call in and find out for sure.

Since you have to fight to get the HDMI port problems fixes, I doubt they do it for the cable, but who knows

That's a good point. Even though it doesn't say which cables, as always, it's best to call and ask. :)

I would start out by asking what the plan covers, and when they say "everything" or something to that effect, say "even cabling?" and when they say yes, say "good, because I have a bad HDMI cable :)"

This seems to be the way to get the AM21 replaced with PP so it may be the way to get this done too :D

Probably less hassle involved by buying a new one for $5.

$5.96 with shipping. I still would call, what is the point of the PP if you don't call because you think didn't cost enough? Would you not call about a PI because you can get one to your door for only $10?

I'd be happy with a $10 public intoxication.

If you have the protection plan just say the TV says "No Signal" and you aren't getting any picture. The tech that comes out will probably be more than happy to replace it.

Quick 27$ if was my service call.
