Several movies I love, a great offering of horror films for Halloween, and some movies my kids will love as well. A great month for HDNet Movies!

I've always wanted to see Laurence of Arabia in WS HD. Now I have a chance.

Absolutely. Lawrence of Arabia is one of the best (and most beautiful) films ever made.

Magnificent scenery, a great score and compelling story.

BTW, a less epic, but equally entertaining and expansive storyline is:

The Wind and the Lion: Sean Connery, Candis Bergan. Shot in Morocco, I think. Gorgeous and entertaining. Brian Keith as Teddy R.

Does anyone know if DirecTV will ever carry Magnolia Pictures On Demand? This film is playing there now until the sneak peek on HDNet movies and according to a site called "magsneaks," (just Google "Monsters magsneaks") Monsters is available on nearly EVERY cable provider in the nation BUT DirecTV. Really annoying.

I assumed that it was showing on HDNet Movies On Demand as well but that doesn't seem to be the case.

FYI...many of these are now available as VOD. Lawrence of Arabia for example. Best. Film. Ever.
