If you all you want is consistency, they could go back to all Canadian feeds in SD. I'm just glad that we started getting more then SNET-O feeds in HD, just in case I do want to watch one of those games. Although I honestly don't watch many of them. Mainly watch the MSG-HD feeds of my team, which have been excellent.

Except last night, when the Rangers were on NBCSports, which has OK HD but it is not a sharp as MSG, NESN, even CBC. I don't know why their broadcasts look 'soft'; has anyone ever queried the network for an answer?

And dark. Every game on that network just seems really dark.

One of my issues with is that DirecTV has been dropping SNET-O HD and SD feeds since Christmas. The Leafs were on SNET-O four times in January and DirecTV only carried one of the games. Before Christmas, every Leafs game on SNET-O had been carried. So a drop in service and inconsistency.

Obviously I'd like an HD feed but that isn't happening with games on LeafsTV and TSN. But my understanding is the league provides all of the SD feeds but DirecTV is choosing not to carry those.

Yep. Soft and dark. It was actually a tad sharper than usual for last night's Ranger game, though. I'm absolutely spoiled by MSG's top notch picture quality.

Anyone noticing reduced PQ on the MSG family of channels lately? Looks much softer.

Why no HD on Oilers/Senators, just a DirecTV logo? SD feed is fine.

Panthers feed of the Panthers/Islanders game blacked out on center ice? Anyone have any idea why?

Edit: nevermind it opened up just as I hit post.

Holy Smokes???? What in hell is that????

It must be the "in arena" big screen feed for fans at the game. And I'm guessing it's Panthers radio for the audio.

The game is not being televised on FS Florida.

Love the crooked clock in the SE corner.

It is so bad, it's mesmerizing!

    Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, thought it was pretty funny haha.

The Senators aren't televising the game and neither are the Panthers, so they provided the jumbotron feed, with the radio broadcast.

Would have liked to see some Canadian HD feeds for the late games tonight... especially with no HD feed at all for the Leafs/Oilers game. Too bad it was on Leafs TV instead of SNET Ontario. At least Altitude HD looks really sharp for the Vancouver game.

Jumbotron feeds are always enjoyable. :) Can't believe D* devoted an HD channel to that!

It could have been worse. They could have had a camera trained on the Jumbotron!
