Your right, did they just change that?
Leafs/Canucks on the NHLN now 720PM
The CBC TV website http://www.cbc.ca/programguide/daily/2009/10/24/cbc_television/ shows all three early games in HD. Leafs-Vancouver nationwide, Habs only in Quebec and Sens-Bruins only in Ottawa. If you set your location for each city you'll see that the game is listed in HD. Meanwhile....more Leafs.
I was hoping to see CBC coverge of the Senators/Bruins.I love watching Lyndon Slewidge belt out the anthems in Ottawa before I switch to the Flyers/Panthers game.
I think he's the best in the business. <lol>
if you saw the hd feed of the habs game, you would know that it is nothing more than sd widescreen. cbc has it on a hd channel, but it isnt true hd. the feed on rds is in true hd and looks a hell of a lot better
and since bell doesnt carry a hd feed of ottawa (just toronto, montreal and vancouver), i dont know what that looks like.
and cbc will always shove the leafs down everybody's throats, since they have more fans than any other team.
the canadian ranger game is only in sd widescreen on cbc not actual hd, i was watching for a while, i guess you'd call it 480p.
ps; gotta love don cherry's suit tonite, lol.
those kingston jerseys were pretty awesome
The Leafs days as the national game on HNIC and on the NHL network may well soon be over. They are painful to watch and I say that as Leafs fan...they are a very bad joke.
yeah those jerseys were pretty nice alright
as for the leafs, look at it this way there is no way to go but up, i sure hope for kessell's sake that when he comes off the DL that he is able to put up some numbers sooner than later considering what they gave up to get him, going to be a lot of pressure on him playing in that town.
Well thanks DirecTV. You pull the CBC feed of Ottawa Boston and then pull the plug on Montreal New York just as fast as you can. At least the second game came on on time.
As for the NHL network they couldn't move fast enough to drop HNIC as soon as the Leafs game was over.
Good job all round guys. Thanks for nothing.
Now the only thing left to see is does After Hours get pulled.... place your bets now.
Dammit, because the guide said "Upcoming: NHL on the Fly" on the NHLN, the pregame nor the game recorded.
Don Cherry has warn some wild outfits in the past, but that one took the cake!:eek2:
That screwed things up for a lot of us. I was just trying to record it while it was in the DP buffer. Since they had NHL on the fly scheduled for 2 days, it wanted me to delete things I had setup 12 hours later. At least I was able to watch what I wanted to, just not when I wanted to.
It was on this afternoon from 1630-1730.
I did record/watch much of game 2 between Flames and Oilers this afternoon. If you like fighting these guys went at it. Those with no interest in the Western teams should watch a "Battle of Alberta" game when both are on. It was a good one. Especially for October!
