    I'm having some problems with my Dish 500..Sgl. LNB (for Sat.129), and 1000.2 antenna signals. For the past week or so my Dish 500 with the single LNB for viewing Sat. 129 is seeing some signal loss. So. I moved my Sat. 129 back on the Dish 1000.2 antenna. That didn't help any on the signal count...low 30's at best. To make some change, I moved the Dish 500 with Sgl. LNB to another location on the home. I changed to a new coax cable, and connect it (direct" to the "in" coax going into the home to my VIP211k. My 129 signal strength went up to high 60's to mid 70's... which is better than before. No 110 and 119 sat connected here...Just the Sat 129 to the VIP211K. Seeing this was good, I connected the single LNB 129 coax to the "In" port on the 1000.2 LNBF. Very poor signal... if any. In fact the receiver 211K shows "green" on sat's 110.119, and "orange" for the Sat. 129. With that I could get only a few HD channels....most wouldn't show in the guide. Meaning my 129 wasn't working with the 1000.2 LNB's. So, here's what is in placed now. I have removed the Dish 500 Sgl. LNB from the 1000.2 "in" port, and removed the foil/cover from the left (129) LNB and connected these two coax's back to the two VIP211K receivers. I get all the satellites, but 129 is still low in signal count....upper 30's at best. I'll settle for this at this time.

    However, I have another plan... use a Dish DPP Pro Plus...ports for 110, 119, and the outer right port for my Dish 500 single LNB. QUESTION: Will the Dish DPP Pro Plus LNB adapt to the 1000.2 arm? Using the 1000.2 as my antenna. Due to the fact my Dish 500 with the single LNB for 129 gets upper 60's and mid 70's, and using the Dish 500 dual DPP Pro Plus, with the single 129 LNB connected to the "In" third post on the DPP Pro Plus, there's a chance I may get a better satellite setup.

    Anyone, have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    Correction here. I meant to say. Will the Dish DPP Pro Plus LNB connect to the 1000.2 plastic yoke on the arm?

    Are you trying to say will a DPP Twin mount to a 1000.2 dish? No if that is the question. Buy a 1000.2 WA LNB or find a dish 500 to replace the 1000.2 dish. There are many unused dish 500s out there.

    The description is a little confusing, but it sounds like the TS is trying to ask if he can essentially convert the 1000.2 into the way the original Dish 1000 was constructed.

    With both a DPP twin for 110 and 119, and DP (or DPP) single for the 129 in the same LNB yoke.

    And I'm not sure, but RBA may be correct in that and you cannot.

    So how are you picking up 110 right now?

    Do you have 119 and 129 feedhorns capped off on the triple LNBF of the 1000.2?

    I assume from your description you have now have a Dish 500 with two LNBF singles for 119 and 129.

    And with this arrangement you need to feed three lines to a DPP-34 or -44 multi-switch, correct?

    I'm feeding the VIP211K (in den) with the Dish 500 with the antenna at 119.129 until I get the DPP Pro Plus Twin LNB I have ordered. The VIP211K was coaxed to the 1000.2. The Living Room TV with a 211 is connected to the 1000.2. With the two Dish 500 ...one is pointed to 129 with a single LNB. It will be coxed into the "in" port on the other Dish 500 that will have the DPP Twin Pro Plus LNB. I will reset my Dish 500 with the DPP twin at 110.119.129. From this dish one coax will go to the Family Room 211 receiver, the other coax will go to the VIP211K in the den. The Dish 1000.2 will be removed and put in storage

    I hope I have explained this correctly..

    Got it;

    Though I gather there's nothing on 110 important, or at least that you're going to miss in the meantime, on the den ViP211K?
