    No dice for me.

Went back to activation screen. Resent authorization. Waited. Nothing.

Got back in with backdoor: Menu, Satellite Setup, don't hit Dash, LIST, wait for guide data.

Ya I thought I read somewhere else that said they tried this and didn't have any luck... I will keep trying though... but not for much longer. :bang

Yeah, I've tried this twice already .. plan to try again, but so far the reauth hasn't worked. All my RID/CAM info lines up between equipment & account.

I'm in the same boat. Tried many resends. Some whilst on SWiM and for the fun of it, several on a direct switched line. No joy.

And my account info matches the screen info. Bummer.

    Tomorrow is another day.

    Cheers,
    Tom

I tried a couple of times to resend authorization, but no help. Hopefully tomorrow the new DECAs will arrive and I'll get everything setup together.

It sure seems like the software isn't recognizing the auth during setup. Bypassing the activation screen lets me do anything I'd normally have--at least in early tests. :)

    Cheers,
    Tom

And now, an update on my above post:

I just did a menu reset as I was not getting my locals. Receiver rebooted and now it wants activation again. :(

UPDATE: did the reauth again, and now its working with my locals. :)

    Tom,

I think you hit it on the head. A refesh of receiver while in the wating for activation screen does nothing, but if you bypass the activation and go to a channel like 101 and them do a refersh the activation works. I have a feeling if you do a reset, it will go away again. definitely looks like a software bug. I think I see a force update coming very soon.

Yep, just tried and it worked for me. Watching channel 100 I refreshed the new box and presto, it's fully up and running.

Edit: It's not FULLY up - a lot of channels are dimmed out in the guide, but I can still select them and they play. Strange symptom. It does appear to be getting all the correct channels, and not getting ones I'm not subscribed to, but I couldn't tell it from the guide. Probably will update over time.

Have not tried a reset. Based on others experience I suspect it will go back to the waiting auth screen.

PS. Once you are authorized, don't do a satellite setup again or you will need to re-authorize all over again.

"yeah" a reboot starts the whole thing all over again.
Get off the authorization screen, wait for guide data to update and then reauthorize the receiver.

I selected to refresh everything. The only change that happened here was that my coffee cup was full~

    EDIT
Nice find VOS. Wish it worked for me! :(

    EDIT
It did work. From the authorize screen, Menu=>Re Sat setup=>Guide

Wait for a while. It will take some time to get the guide data.

I am working now. Have not looked in depth though.

    ECIT
Even the network got a DHCP address. No MRV, yet! 0x0321a software. Looking for MRV keyword now in forum.

    EDIT
    Steps I took
    1. Re-Authorized ALL boxes
    2. Went in to Dish Pointing, set zip code
    3. Went into repeat sat setup, hit guide instead of <dash>

This gave me by guide data after waiting for a while.
