I would say I watch 40-55 hours a week. I watch a ton of sports content MLB, NBA, NFL, NCAA Basketball, etc. I work 45 hours a week, am married and am 31 years old.

I probably watch 11-15 hours and I'm 19. I really only watch what I DVR. Sometimes I probably watch 20+ but I get bored of TV eventually.

I said 11-15. One, it's summer and I'm not watching as much TV. Two, I primarily watch news programming and the news is so depressing lately, I'm not watching as much. I turn on TV for as long as I can stand it and then turn it off and listen to music instead.

I have so many frickin' movies on my DVRs right now it's not funny. I really need to plow through those.

This winter. I'll get to them this winter.

It's probably on for 50+ hrs/week, but I'm not watching it much of the time. I'm 72 y/o, retired and partially disabled. When we go out, we often leave it on for the dogs (one of which really likes America's Funniest Home Videos, which I record just for her).

Easily over 21 hours per week was my vote.

What can I say, I watch a lot of TV. I grew up in front of the idiot box and still watch now. The difference is now my laptop is on my lap frequently as well.

I am a 44 yr old, married man, with 2 chilldren. MOST of my TV I watch during the week is with my wife, but on weekends I watch a lot of sports without her. My kids watch a fair amount themselves, but not as much as me.

I have had at least one DVR for 10+ years now so almost everything I watch is time delayed, even a lot of the sports, though I watch a lot of sports live too.

I suppose it is expected on a forum like this one to see the 21+ vote so high, but it still surprised me.

I voted 6 - 10 hours which is what I actually watch, however the TV is on a lot more than that. It is a mixture of just background noise and doing something else while I am 'watching' On time is probably closer to 40 hours

I voted 11-15 hours.... but that is just MY viewing habits. I watch TV maybe 2 to 3 hours per day usually from 7-ish at night to 10-ish, virtually all DVR stuff.

After voting though, I realized my wife might watch more in the daytime, as she records her own shows and watches them during the day. She usually doesn't have the TV on at all when I come home as she is too busy doing stuff but I know she watches in the mornings.

I watch at least 28-36 hours worth of shows. But with the dvr you can cut the commercial time out of that number.

Right now, in the middle of summer, I'm around 10 hours, tops.

But come September, with the fall season starting and FOOTBALL, it will probably balloon to about 30.

I voted over 21. 34 year old male no kids. I watch 3 hours a day during the week and more during sat/sunday. I watch more during football season(college and pros) maybe 40+(No ST). I would be watching more, but I skip through the commercials with the DVRs.

I'm the thread starter and I watch a very small number of hours. But I probably should add, I'd be in the over-21 group if I had the time.

Oh wow well over 100 per week. I work from home so it is on from 6:30 when I get up until 10:30 when I got to bed Mon-Fri and then On the weekend I am up 18hrs and it is on. Especially now when it is 187 degrees out here in San Antonio. To hot to do much more than burn through the DVR.

Even when there is nothing on the Youtube through the DVR is great for past Big Brother seasons for background noise.

Oh and I am 41 married with a 10yr old girl.
