My DVR gets HD channels-Hd Local channels and, when there are previews, those come in HD too. For example, these I currently have in HD-130, 131, 185, 187, 231, 340, 378, 388 AND my locals.

That's a great find. The Dish lineup sheet linked earlier shows zero HD channels in Dish Family. Good to know there are at least a few HD channels in there.

Now those are not off Dish Family, but what I currently have. Some of those are previews, so they come in HD.

In our house there are three people paying our bill. We split the bill in 3rds.

After all of your wonderful advice, we have decided to go with 1 Hopper/ 2 Joeys, Americas Top 250 (my husband said living without Fox Soccer wasn't an option), and ditch the Blockbuster, and I will probably get rid of the protection plan once everything is up and running. I thought I would get more flack from my 21 and 19 year old about losing the movie channels, but they don't watch them either since my oldest pays for Netflix streaming and Hulu Plus.

I am very excited about the Primetime anytime feature because we missed shows we would probably have liked because of timer conflicts. Now we just need to watch everything on our DVR's before they go away!

Thank you everyone for all your help! I have been a reader of the forums for many years and have always gotten the best info. I wasn't even aware of the Hopper/Joey option until I posted so this has been fantastic!

I hope your decision was not solely on Fox Soccer Channel for selecting the package of AT250. Fox Soccer Channel is in Dish Latino Dos ($44.99/month), America's Top 120 Plus ($49.99/month--but not AT200 for reasons unknown), and Dish Latino Max ($57.99/month).
I know since we have Dish Latino Dos with HD and the $5/month Encore Movie Pack (channels 341-346 and 377).

America's Top 250 has a lot of movie channels such as the Encores, MoviePlex, Epix Drive-In, The Movie Channel West, The Movie Channel Xtra, etc.

HD locals (if available in your area) are included in the Welcome Pack. You probably get the Blockbuster channel in HD on channel 102. The TEST channel (Velocity) on channel 5710 may come in as well depending on what arc you are on.

130 HDNet Movies and 131 AXS are most likely in free preview as high quality replacements for AMC and IFC respectfully.

185 Hallmark, 187 Hallmark Movie Channel, and 231 RFD-TV are in the $5 a la carte pack called the Heartland Package. A la carte and premium offerings may have HD and those HD channels are included since they are not based on the base package.

340 Encore HD and 378 IndiePlex are in free preview. Channel 103 has what channels are in free preview.

I'm still fuzzy on that because...I have AT200, and I have FSC.

Do you have the $9/month Multi-Sport pack in addition to AT200?

I do not think it is in the Latino Bonus Pack. Maybe you are just lucky and should consider it a Dish perk. Otherwise, maybe Dish realized that it did not make sense to include it in AT120Plus and 250 but not 200.
