I'm in the process of building a new PC and when it's done I'll move my old one downstairs next to my HR20.

Here is what this old PC has:

    9500 Pro video card
    DVD burner
    TV tuner

Is it possible with my setup to transfer my recordings from the HR20 to the PC? WHat do I need? Thnaks in advance.

The only way you can do it today is to play the recording from the DVR and record it to the PC hard drive. Then burn it to a DVD. There is no way to go from DVR hard drive to DVD direct unless you use a PVR that records direct to DVD media. Even then, you have to play it and record at the same time.

When the HR20 plays content, it outputs on all methods (S-video, HDMI, component). Have thte PC recoprd it from a capture card, then burn to DVD
