    Nono, mine's not here today. :) Maybe Monday. More than likely after Christmas, with my luck. :D

    Seems a little odd that both of us, in the same area (probably within 10 miles or less of each other) are having the same problem.

    Either there's something in the stream or the FedEx guy was too rough with the boxes.

    I'm right on the line between Glen Burnie and Pasadena. I live down off of Solley Road.

    That's OK, I have a feeling these boxes arrived sooner than Directv expected anyway, Hopefully when you get yours, everything will be set up and ready on your account

    I'm putting my HR20 back right now so I can download tonights CE. However, something I noticed when swtiching them. The HR21-100 is much lighter than the HR20-700. If anyone cares, here are the weights...

    HR20-700 = 9lbs 9.8oz
    HR21-100 = 7lbs 12oz

    Here. A bit later than when you wrote this, but mine did not appear today, sadly enough. :(

    Ah ha... know right where you are. Too funny.

    Anyway, I don't even get to ch. 100. I can't get it to boot any farther than that aquiring guide data screen. Mine goes into screen saver mode and just sits there. When I wake it up, it's back at the same screen. I pulled mine out of service for now.

    Oh, well, I guess we can't do much more without the activation on our accounts anyway. Hopefully that will clear it up, if not, at least we will be able to rule that out.

    Didn't get mine either. No big deal, if it means some kid gets his christmas package on time. Just so my Hr-21 isn't on a plane with Tom Hanks heading out over the Pacific it will be okay with me. And I still have my HR20-700 CE to play with.

    Good point. I did see the added and removed partial charge with the new access card number, so everything hopefully is in motion on their end.

    Good info....hang onto that for future reference...you're right...there is almost a 2lb difference - the HR21's don't have the OTA tuner and some related circuits that are part of that "diet"...

    Just downloaded 0x01E2 for my HR20-700 with no issues so my sat connections are working fine. It's got to be something with the HR21-100 box.

    Along those same lines, the remote (RC64R) packaged with the HR21-100 also weighs less, is slightly larger, has larger buttons with larger text, and has a different tactile feel to the buttons. They're seem "Easier" to push. Here's a side-by-side comparison of the two.

    Weights:
    RC24 = 7.1oz
    RC64R = 6.0oz

    Where is it marked?

    I only see an FCC code. RCSRC1984720

    Never mind. I am blind.
